Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had some issues in the rooms, like being rather scruffy and tired, with smears on the wall and faulty lighting, but the staff was amazing. The location was warm and friendly with a local atmosphere, providing easy access to the beautiful Ryde beach and nearby shops and bars. Dining was satisfactory, and there were some excellent amenities available.
The room was larger than I expected with a wonderful view of the sea and the bowls club. It was very comfortable, clean, and had a good shower. The service was amazing, with the staff being very happy and helpful, even assisting with our day 2 PCR test. The location was beautiful, right on the seafront with lots to do within walking distance. However, the dining experience was a bit disappointing with inedible food on both days. The facilities were good overall but lacking in the dining area.
The hotel was really welcoming and accommodating, with spacious rooms and a vibrant atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay, although some issues with organization were noted. The location offers beautiful views and is close to convenient amenities and dining options. The dining experience was delightful yet slightly rushed at times. A thoroughly enjoyable stay with a few areas for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was lovely and spacious, but the cold due to heating off and noise from the staircase were issues. The service was excellent and proactive, yet the location had some cleanliness concerns. The dining experience was mostly fantastic, but with occasional lapses. Overall, a stay with ups and downs.
